Gene Krupa

One of the first drummers of jazz, and from Chicago, he transcended the appreciation of musicians so much that the general public began to know him. He always has a big, energetic swing feel.

It's almost a different characteristic to what drummers would be like later on, since he would play more energetically. He's esspecially known for his huge fills, and big bass drum "katchuk", called "Chopping Wood".
