Count Basie

Played out of the Stride (Piano) style, like Duke Ellington. But Count Basie was special in that he would play a little Boogie Woogie, but once things started going he'd play lightly on the RH to comp with the rest of the orchestra. The stride style was less pronounced than DE, and more Boogie Woogie than anything.
